Analysis of Overheating of Motor for Gear Oil Pump

     When the gear pump transmission device is disassembled and reassembled, first make the teeth of the movable claw coupling and the fixed claw coupling in the full-tooth engagement position, and then loosen but not tighten the two fixing bolts on the positioning plate If it is dropped, insert the positioning pin on the engaging lever assembly into the hole on the side of the gear oil pump at the rear of the positioning plate. If the long slot hole on the positioning plate has turned to the limit and the positioning pin still cannot be inserted into the hole, you need to reassemble the engagement lever assembly, change its spline fitting position, and tighten the two positioning plate fixing bolts after adjustment. Engage the lever assembly fixing bolt. Finally, the joint lever assembly should be repeatedly pulled several times. The movable claw coupling should slide freely. From the inspection hole, the two coupling teeth in the joint position should be fully engaged, and the separated position should be fully disengaged.
Gear pumps are mainly used in the transmission, pressurization, fuel injection, etc. of oil media in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, mining, power stations and other industries, as well as in the thin oil circulation of large mechanical equipment, and can be used as lubrication pumps in various mechanical equipment use.
Motor overheating is a common problem in the working process of gear oil pumps. The specific analysis and testing are as follows:
1. The scope of use (flow rate, head) exceeds the design requirements of the gear pump: select the appropriate motor according to the series type spectrum
2. The specific gravity of the medium exceeds the gear oil pump configuration motor: configure a suitable gear oil pump motor
3. The packing gland is pressed too tightly or the mechanical seal spring is adjusted too tightly: readjust the spring compression of the gland or mechanical seal
4. The pump assembly quality is poor, there is friction or the motor is not concentric with the pump shaft: check the assembly quality and eliminate assembly faults.
